THE COLUMN with Sully ensued! He perused and examined the legacy and career of the late Kobe Bryant who passed yesterday in a helicopter crash along with his daughter Gianna and 7 other people including the pilot and family friends.
There are a few AP sports guys we always get ahold of for big games, and the Super Bowl is no excpetion! We had Barry Wilner on to talk about the matchup and lend us some insight from his lengthy award-winning, sportswriting career.
BARRY:
Jack Armstrong is and has been the voice of the Toronto Raptors for decades and has alot of Kobe Bryant memories and remarkable moments he witnessed in his years of covering the league.
JACK:
Matt Bove is the sports director at WKBW Channel 7 and he stopped by in the second hour to talk the latest around the Sabres and the Bills as well as his reaction to the death of Kobe Bryant.
MATT:
Its Monday, so we were joined after Barry by Sal Maiorana of the Rochester D&C to talk the latest surrounding the Astros and Red Sox as well as some offseason Bills news and Super Bowl 54 prep!
SAL:
As he is want to do on Mondays, Jason Keidel of WFAN.com and CBSSports.com gave us a ring to talk Eli retiring, the presser as well as some general NYC sports discussion!
JASON:
From the Tim Graham show as well as many other outlets in Buffalo (and even AP stringer) Jonah Bronstein gave us a ring to talk Kobe Bryant and his legacy on the game and the NBA/WNBA.
JONAH:
